Delete your data

FlickerTalk · ERPLORA CLOUD SL

There is no account to close, because there never was one. FlickerTalk holds no conversations, no address book and nothing that says who you are. What little it does hold, you can delete from the app in one tap.

Delete everything, from the app

Open FlickerTalk and go to Settings → Erase this phone. That one action:

There is no undo. Your key is gone and we never held a copy, so the same identity cannot be brought back.

What we hold, and for how long

WhatWhyHow long
Device identifier, public key and a hash of your routing codeso our server can check that requests come from your phone, and only your contacts can reach youuntil you erase the phone
Encrypted notification tokenso another phone can wake yours when a message is waitinguntil you erase the phone, or until Google or Apple say it expired
Messages waiting in the mailbox, encrypted end to endso a message still arrives when your phone was offdeleted the moment they are delivered; at most 7 days

That is the whole list. No conversation history, no address book, no name, no email, no phone number, no activity logs, no advertising identifier. We cannot read the messages in the mailbox: they are encrypted end to end and we do not hold the keys.

If you no longer have the phone

Uninstalling the app without erasing it first leaves only your device record on our server: its identifier, public key, routing hash and encrypted token. It stops being used as soon as the notification token expires, and it says nothing about you or about anyone you talked to.

If you still want it removed, write to info@flickertalk.com from any address and include the FlickerTalk ID shown in Settings on that phone (it starts with ft_). It is the only thing that lets us find the entry: we have nothing else to search by, no email and no phone number. We answer within 30 days.
